This is an antique John Buchanan & Bros Ltd, Stewart Street, Cowcaddens, Glasgow confectionery tin. A lovely tin in the Arts and Crafts style, and dates from the late 19th/ early 20th Century.
Each side, along with the lid, has embosed pattens, as well as jewel like decoration and litho art within the panels of various scenes.
Ideal for a collector, as a vintage trinket box, or decorative item in any room of the house.
Condition:
Good Vintage Condition, but with a few knocks over time, as expected with an item of its age. (Please see photos as they are part of the description)
