This is a vintage Moira English stoneware cheese preserver, a nice example of collectable kitchenware. It is made of durable stoneware with a glazed interior and exterior.
The jar was manufactured in England by Moira Pottery. It is designed to preserve cheese and includes instructions printed on the inside of the lid. Inside, you’ll find raised ridges designed to keep cheese elevated and ventilated
It features a traditional English farmhouse design with sand tone colour glaze and black text, suitable for use or as a decorative addition to your kitchen.
